June 19, 2024 – Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. has unveiled a brand new scientific analysis laboratory constructing at its Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laboratory in Middleton, Wisconsin. The brand new 72,500 sq. meter constructing will increase the location's chemical, manufacturing and management (CMC) analytical capabilities as a part of its scientific growth and laboratory providers. The GMP website gives high-quality analytical providers for small molecules and biologics, together with biopharmaceuticals, inhaled prescribed drugs and system testing, cell and gene remedy, protein characterization and mass spectrometry evaluation for all phases of drug growth.

The most recent addition to the GMP campus provides a multi-functional and versatile biosafety stage 2 laboratory with a purpose-built liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and protein characterization room, two giant molecular suites with entry managed pre- and post-amplification laboratories, and two giant common function laboratories. The growth provides 350 scientists and laboratory assist professionals to the almost 2,300 workers engaged on the analysis campus.
