June 28, 2024 – In response to the U.S. Facilities for Medicare & Medicaid Providers (CMS) overview of The Joint Fee’s deemed renewal utility, the company has made modifications to the efficiency parts (EPs). CMS introduced within the Might 24 Federal Register that it has renewed authority for The Joint Fee’s Laboratory and Level-of-Care Testing Accreditation Program. The modifications to the EPs embody including calibration verification to the record of required written procedures, clarifying proficiency testing because it pertains to secondary analyzers, check programs, checks, and examinations, clarifying the excellence between participation in proficiency testing and efficiency on proficiency testing, and clarifying required follow-up actions for failed proficiency testing.
